Your Choices

You can choose one pendant shape for the whole class to focus on, or let students pick from all available shapes. Each student will carve one jewellery pendant during the workshop.

Learning Outcomes

Students will learn to use tools to carve a small pre-cut soapstone piece.
They will practice hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills while learning
basic carving techniques.

Through this project, students explore rocks and minerals, animal symbolism,
